Belfast Harbor Fest 5K The 2011 Belfast Harbor Fest will kick off Saturday, Aug. 20, at 8:30 a.m. with a 5K road race along the scenic Belfast waterfront. The course will begin on Commercial Street near the Belfast Boathouse. From there, runners will continue on Commercial Street, past Belfast Common and the Belfast City Landing, past the old railroad yard and onto the new 12-foot wide cement footbridge that crosses Penobscot Bay. The runners will then circle back and finish at the Belfast Boathouse. Every runner who pre-registers by Aug.1 will receive a high quality T-shirt, a ticket to the pancake breakfast and will be entered in the Belfast Harbor Fest raffle.
